Independent inspection, at every stage of production.
A factory grading its own work is the single most common reason containers arrive with damage, mismatched finishes or short counts. Our inspectors are salaried by us, walk the floor in person, and report to you — not to the factory.
Every order is checked before, during and after production.
Each checkpoint exists to catch a different category of fault — materials issues can't be fixed once a piece is finished, and packing faults can't be seen until the container is loaded.
Pre-production inspection
Before cutting begins, we check that the wood, fabric, foam density, hardware and finish materials on hand match what your order specifies — the point where a wrong batch of fabric is cheapest to catch.
During-production (mid-line) inspection
With around 20–30% of the order complete, we check joint stability, seam quality, colour and finish consistency against your approved sample, and flag any drift early enough to correct it.
Pre-shipment inspection
Once the order is complete and packed, we run a full carton count against the packing list, a drop test on a sample carton, and a final visual check — before anything is authorised to load.
A report you can act on, not a pass/fail stamp.
- Photo & video evidence. Timestamped images of the checked items, not a generic sample photo.
- AQL-based sampling. Carton sampling follows standard AQL levels appropriate to your order size.
- Same-day turnaround. Reports go out the day the inspection is completed, so a hold decision doesn't cost you transit time.
- A clear call. Ship, rework, or reject — stated plainly, with the reasoning behind it.
What happens when an inspection doesn't pass.
The shipment is held
Nothing that fails pre-shipment inspection is authorised to load. We notify you the same day with photo evidence of the fault.
The factory reworks at their cost
Where the fault is fixable — a finish issue, a packing error — the factory corrects it at their own expense and we re-inspect before release.
Unresolved issues are escalated to you
If a factory can't or won't correct a fault, we bring it back to you with options — replacement production, a partial shipment, or a different supplier — before anything moves further.
